WELCOME TO CHRONORUSH!

A kart racing game inspired by GARFIELD KART. The almighty GARFIELD who died for our sins.

Race through an endless plethora of 12 COURSES through the greatest ancient civilizations! These include greats like the Tyranosaurus Reximus and the legendary land of the great fallen Ceasar Salad.

Pick from the half as endless racing mobiles of the past. But don't chose the Road Runner ;)

The controls are simple. Arrow keys Left and Right to steer. Use your amazing Z key to make your kart go Vroom Vroom Zoom Zoom. In water or off of a ramp, Press your beautiful and gorgeous X key to preform a not-so-fabtastical trick. While accelerating, you can Press the Up arrow to increase your speed. But watch out! This ability reduces your turning radius.

Wow. This gives me memories of pole position ( old atari game )

(1 edit)

I had a great time working on this project over the past week or so. That said, there are definitely mechanics that didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped, along with several ideas I didn’t have time to implement that I think would meaningfully improve the game.

I plan to continue developing this project after the jam ends, with the goal of eventually releasing it on Steam — so keep an eye out for that.

If you enjoyed the game and have ideas to improve it, or if you didn’t enjoy it and want me to fix what bothered you, feel free to reply to this comment with your thoughts. I’d genuinely love to hear them. While I can’t promise every suggestion will make it into the game, all feedback is appreciated.

I may also share development logs in the future, though nothing is set in stone yet.

Thank you for playing — I’ll see you in the next one.
